AFME papers published ahead of MiFID review proposal
The Association for Financial Markets in Europe has published a series of briefing notes looking at the main themes of the European Commission’s ongoing review of the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID). These are a useful introduction to the subject for non-specialists. The briefing notes can be read here; of particular interest to Corporate lawyers will be the “Overview” briefing note and the “Corporate Finance” briefing note.
The Commission’s proposals for a review of MiFID are expected to be published in October 2011.
