Intended to provide a new source of information and comment on financial services regulatory policy
NYSE Euronext has a new website dedicated to financial services regulatory policy in the European Union. The first subject covered is the European Commission’s proposals on MiFID II. The new website is here and material already on the site covers:
- Transparency in the European equity markets
- New definitions in MiFID 2
- OTC and protecting the end investor
- A level playing field for MTFs and regulated markets.
As NYSE Euronext observes, the EU will debate and decide an unprecedented volume of financial market reforms in 2012 - NYSE Euronext’s intention is “to continually update the website as the regulatory process evolves”.
