“EuVECA”: Aim is for the European Council and Parliament to reach agreement by June 2012
We reported in this December 2012 post on the European Commisson’s proposal to create a “European Venture Capital Fund” designation and a single rulebook for marketing of VC funds across the EU.
The Council of the EU published a short summary on 13 February 2013 on the progress of this proposal, stating the “very broad support” for the overall objectives and main elements of the proposal and confirming its aim to reach a political agreement with the European Parliament by June 2012.
